Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Controls Engineer in Mount Pleasant, PA (Hybrid) to design and implement advanced control systems for high-voltage substations. You will translate customer requirements into effective control solutions and lead engineering activities with stakeholders across project lifecycles.

The role requires 2+ years in controls or automation, CAD proficiency, and strong communication. Occasional travel to customer sites is expected in a collaborative, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in controls, automation, or control cabinet design.
• Proficiency with CAD tools; E3 experience is a plus.
• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and engineering documentation.
• Ability to travel occasionally for customer meetings and site visits.
