Mayekawa Usa Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to lead the Controls Engineering department, guiding technical direction, staffing, and project execution for industrial control systems. The role emphasizes safety, budget adherence, and collaboration across Sales, Aftermarket, and Manufacturing.

You will mentor engineers, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive improvements in design and efficiency while supporting growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of controls engineering experience.
• 3–5 years of engineering leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in controls engineering for industrial refrigeration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Controls Engineering team; hiring and training as needed.
• Plan and assign projects to control/electrical engineers to meet production deadlines.
• Ensure safety and compliance with UL 508A, NFPA 79, NEC, IIAR and other standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Aftermarket, Manufacturing.
• Provide technical guidance and respond to customer/internal inquiries on control technologies.
