Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. invites a Senior Project Manager - Controls Engineering to join our Fredericksburg, VA team. You will independently manage complex control-focused projects from initiation to completion, ensuring cost, schedule, and resource plans align with client needs and business goals.

You will lead a high-performing team, manage vendor relationships, and guide client decisions to deliver engineered solutions that meet or exceed expectations. PMP is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• PMP certification is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages small to large-scale projects for clients independently with minimal oversight.
• Develops, manages, and controls project costs and schedules.
• Leads and develops a high-performing project team to meet goals.
• Maintains client/vendor relations and reports progress to Wunderlich-Malec and clients.
• Guides clients in decisions to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Represents the client as needed and manages third parties.
