Job summary

Convergix Automation Solutions in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Controls Engineering Intern to support the Controls group by contributing to multiple projects and assisting senior engineers. You will work with the Controls Engineering Manager, Technical Leaders, and cross-functional teams to share ideas that boost team effectiveness.

The role reports to the Director of Operations and may require travel within the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary engineering program.
• Eagerness to learn while working with a team to develop custom industrial robotic automation systems.
• Talented team player capable of working efficiently with a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to 1-5 projects daily.
• Support the electrical and mechanical design teams.
• Contribute to PLC, HMI and Robotics program development.
• Assist with hands-on assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of custom automation equipment.
• Work closely with your project team to find solutions to achieve targeted functional outcomes within defined budgets and timelines.
