CONVERGIX Automation Solutions in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking a Controls Engineering Intern to support our growing automation team. You will work with the Controls Engineering Manager, Technical Leaders, and cross-functional teams to learn best practices and contribute to PLC, HMI, and robotics development.

This paid co-op term offers hands-on experience with assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of custom equipment, with travel within the US and Canada as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to 1-5 projects daily.
• Support the electrical and mechanical design teams.
• Contribute to PLC, HMI and Robotics program development.
• Assist with hands-on assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of custom automation equipment.
• Work closely with your project team to find solutions to achieve targeted functional outcomes within defined budgets and timelines.
• Given the client-focused nature of the work, employees may be required to work over weekends or outside of standard business hours as needed.

The Role
