Job summary

GAF is seeking a Controls Engineering Co-Op for 2027 to work on real projects within a collaborative engineering environment. Students pursuing chemical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering will participate in full-time rotations lasting six months, with potential return for additional terms as they continue their studies.

Compensation includes a base hourly rate of $24.00, with location-dependent living or relocation allowances.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA with sophomore standing.
• Full-time rotations for a 6-month term (Spring/Summer or Summer/Fall).
• Ability to generate accurate and concise technical reports.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performing raw material quality assurance activities and material performance.
• Conducting problem solving investigations and troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement counter measures.
• Supporting quality improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Providing technical support and analytical analysis for material issues.
• Involvement with data flow/technical diagrams.
