This role involves assisting in design and maintenance of systems, programming HMIs, and participating in product development projects. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year engineering focused higher education completed at start of co-op.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Electrical aptitude with a passion for designing systems with HMI’s and PLC’s.
• Experience with basic laboratory electronic equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering group by developing solutions to manufacturing issues.
• Assist in creating job packets for Production.
• Help maintain engineering drawings and resolve production floor issues.
• Program HMIs to add new functionality.
• Participate in New Product Development projects from concept to testing.
