Dematic Corp. is seeking a Controls Engineer in Tech Support for the night shift, working directly with customers to diagnose and resolve hardware and PLC issues on material handling systems.

You will use schematics and live diagnostics to isolate faults and implement fixes. The role includes travel of 20–30% to customer sites across the United States, requiring a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and hands-on PLC experience with Allen-Bradley and Schneider platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 1+ years in a customer service/support role.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Schneider PLC platforms.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the support of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
• Provide support in semi-complex material specification, schematic troubleshooting, and follow-up.
• Recommend ideas to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provide outstanding troubleshooting expertise to Dematic's customers.
• Travel 20-30% to various customer locations, including weekends and overtime.
