We are seeking an experienced Senior PLC Controls Engineer II to lead our control systems design and implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming and control systems, with a focus on Siemens PLC and HMI programming. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems using Siemens PLC and HMI programming.
• Program BPCS and SIS using SIMATIC STEP 7 Professional V19, and STEP 7 Safety Advanced V19
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC and control systems in a timely manner.
• Conduct system integration and testing of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain documentation for control systems, including programming, configurations, and user manuals.
• Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control systems technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC programming and control systems design.
• Proficiency in Siemens PLC, HMI programming, and BPCS.
• Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networking is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and process control concepts.
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley systems is a plus.
