Job summary

Brooks Automation in Austin, TX is seeking a controls engineer to design high‑performance robot control platforms for semiconductor manufacturing. You will work on motion control algorithms, hardware tuning, and verification using MATLAB in a hands‑on environment.

The role requires a degree in engineering (BSEE/BSME with 3+ years or higher) and strong fundamentals in control theory, dynamics and robotics, plus experience with C/C++ in real-time systems.

Qualifications

• Interest in applying digital filtering and control theory to design motion control algorithms.
• Ability to tune feedback parameters on robot hardware and evaluate dynamic performance.
• Experience with real‑time controls and lab equipment is preferred.
