Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop equipment control software for semiconductor manufacturing. The role centers on C#/C++ programming in Windows 10 and Linux, with embedded control of robotics and motion systems.

You will work on machine vision and machine learning integration, write specs, implement designs, and support customers during integration. You will collaborate with ME, EE, and SW engineers, perform SQA testing, and contribute to documentation and field

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 7+ years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and write specification for software components.
• Write design specs and review with team.
• Implement designs in C#/C++ and have code reviews.
• Design tests and run unit tests on emulation and hardware.
• Integrate software into the system and perform SQA testing.
• Support customers during software integration and field escalations.
• Participate in team reviews of specs, code, and tests.
