Job summary

ENGEL is seeking a Controls Engineer for ENGEL Machinery North America to program new robots and automate equipment, modify existing software, and troubleshoot complex systems across production and customer sites.

You will collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical integration, safety compliance, and robust documentation while supporting ongoing modernization of ENGEL automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience programming new robots and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing automation software and hardware.
• Ability to design electrical schematics and integrate with mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Program robots and automation equipment for new projects.
• Modify software for Industrial Robots and peripheral equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug software at production facility and customer site.
• Provide documentation and support to project engineering and assembly teams.
