Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer in Columbia, MO to lead technical projects, maintain the industrial network, and perform PLC work with data collection across the plant.

You will interact with ERP and factory efficiency systems, support SQF/HACCP programs, and coordinate cross-functional teams. A degree in engineering and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience are required; travel and driver’s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or Certification in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial programming.
• 3-5 years’ experience in management and employee development.
• Experience with Rockwell’s FactoryTalk and RS suite.
• Experience with industrial networking and maintenance.
• SQL Server knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Thorough understanding of plant operations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with virtual environments (Vcenter) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement technical projects and new equipment; maintain the industrial network.
• Perform ongoing PLC work and shop floor data collection.
• Resolve technical issues with the plant; support capital projects.
• Program systems to interact with ERP and factory efficiency systems.
• Coordinate operations and data mining for plant improvements.
• Support SQF and HACCP compliance as needed.
• Travel for project work as required.
