Align is seeking a motivated Controls Engineer to design and implement electrical controls and automation systems for industrial material handling equipment. You will collaborate with mechanical engineers, write PLC programs and create operation procedures, while supporting installation, testing, and commissioning on customer sites.
The role requires hands-on experience with AGV systems, CANbus/Ethernet networks, and Allen-Bradley/Codesys environments.
Formación
- Experience with control design, programming and integration on industrial equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and test procedures for controls systems.
- Familiarity with NEC rules and best practices.
Responsabilidades
- Interpret customer requirements and design parameters within budget.
- Commission and troubleshoot control systems and assist installation.
- Lead as Project Manager for electrical and programming aspects.
- Organize workload and milestones for Controls Engineering.
- Support assembly, validation, and integration of pneumatic, hydraulic, servo and drive components.
- Write PLC programs and develop operation manuals for controls.
- Balance multiple projects and prevent scope creep.
