Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering's Boise, ID group is seeking a Controls Engineer to support PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, electrical and instrumentation, and startup assistance. The role involves designing and implementing control systems, developing software and UI, and assisting with commissioning on diverse industrial projects.

Preferred candidates have 3–5 years of experience in control systems and related tools, with education in Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer, or Engineering Technology

Qualifications

Bachelor or higher in engineering fields; Alternative AA degree with equivalent experience may substitute.
3–5 years in control systems; 1–2 years in related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement control systems to meet requirements.
Develop control logic software and UI applications.
Assist with startup, debugging, and documentation.
Work on automation projects for diverse industries.
Adhere to scope, quality, schedule, budget.
Build collaborative client/colleague relationships.
