Job summary

Jobot is seeking a passionate, experienced Permanent Controls Engineer for our Florida plant near Arcadia. You will design, develop, and implement control systems to optimize manufacturing processes, with emphasis on ceramic tile production.

The role includes maintenance, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate has PLC programming experience, familiarity with SCADA, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Qualifications

1–3 years of PLC programming and machine maintenance in manufacturing.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is a plus.
Experience with SCADA and industrial control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement control systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
Apply ceramic tile manufacturing knowledge to improve production processes and meet quality standards.
Utilize SCADA systems for process optimization and control.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering team to integrate new systems and technologies.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide staff training.
Communicate with team members and management in English and Spanish.
