Job summary

Jobot is seeking a passionate, experienced Permanent Controls Engineer to join our manufacturing team, with a focus on Ceramic Tile processes. You will design and optimize control systems, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment to boost efficiency and quality in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers relocation assistance for the right candidate and the opportunity to work with a diverse team across a global manufacturing firm with Century-long experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in PLC programming and machine maintenance for manufacturing lines.
• Proficiency in SCADA and strong Industrial Control understanding.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.
• Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
• Apply knowledge of Ceramic Tile Manufacturing to improve production processes and meet quality standards.
• Utilize SCADA systems for effective industrial control and process optimization.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to integrate new systems and technologies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including process diagrams and layouts.
• Provide training and technical support to production staff on control systems.
• Communicate with team members and stakeholders in English and Spanish.
