Job summary

Jobot is seeking a passionate, experienced Permanent Controls Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Florida near Arcadia. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to improve efficiency, quality, and uptime across ceramic tile manufacturing processes.

Candidates should have PLC programming, machine maintenance, and SCADA expertise, plus the ability to work with English and Spanish speakers. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years in PLC programming and machine maintenance for manufacturing lines.
• Proficiency with SCADA systems and industrial control concepts.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.
• Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to integrate new systems.
• Develop and maintain process control documentation and manuals.
