Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) Groton division seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, implement, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems across manufacturing lines. You will collaborate with operations and engineering to upgrade equipment, diagnose issues rapidly, and document control solutions.

The role requires a strong background in electrical schematics, Rockwell PLCs, and industrial networks, with relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; electrical preferred.
• 3+ years of controls experience; robotics experience preferred (FANUC/Kawasaki).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and work with PLCs (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley).
• Experience with PLC programming and SCADA integration (Ignition a plus).
• SQL skills for data persistence and analysis are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, modify, maintain and support PLC, HMI, SCADA and industrial control systems.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to upgrade and troubleshoot equipment.
• Rapidly diagnose and correct production issues.
• Analyze process data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Integrate sensors, drives, instrumentation and controllers for tighter process control.
• Develop equipment specifications, performance requirements and cost analyses.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain electrical schematics and controls documentation.
• Document equipment parameters and maintenance procedures.
• Configure industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
