Job summary

E Tech Group, a leading engineering and systems integration firm in the United States, seeks a Controls Engineer to lead hardware and software design of process automation projects for Life Sciences, Mission Critical, and other industries. The role includes architecture requirements, PLC/SCADA programming, and startup services.

Must be local to Goodyear, AZ and willing to commute. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaboration and teamwork across disciplines.
• 2–5 years of experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide application/control systems design for varying complexity projects.
• Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions meeting requirements.
• Modify program/system logic across multiple subsystems.
• Develop proficiency in PLC programming and control networks.
• Travel up to 50% for site work and commissioning.
• Interact with customers to define scope, plans and deliverables.
