Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience or equivalent
• Consulting experience preferred
• Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems and process controls
• Experience with Ignition Perspective and PLC platforms including Rockwell, GE, Siemens, Modicon
• Familiarity with SCADA/HMI (Proficy, Wonderware)
• Understanding of biopharma processes, GMP and validation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide application/control systems design and development for systems of varying complexity.
• Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions that meet stated requirements.
• Modify program/system logic involving multiple systems and subsystems.
• Develop proficiency in several programming languages and control device networks for PLCs, PCs.
• Interact with customers to define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned work.
• Work in a team environment with focus on customer service and continuous improvement.
• Travel up to 50% and visit local sites as required.
• Document engineering activities and support regulatory compliance.
