Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions on production equipment. You will support maintenance with installation of new control systems and develop specifications for equipment modifications.

The role requires programming Allen Bradley drives, interfacing with PanelViews, and applying knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Travel to customer sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or PLC Programmer.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites, including industrial plants.
• Special knowledge of electronic design systems and AC/DC motor controls.
• Experience programming and interfacing Allen Bradley drives and controls.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems related to controls.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions on all equipment.
• Assist maintenance with installing new electrical control equipment and bringing it online.
• Develop specifications for electrical control systems and equipment modifications.
• Provide technical support; plan and record periodic electrical analysis on production equipment.
