Job summary

Yanfeng seeks a Controls Technician to support, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based automation and electrical control systems in a manufacturing setting. You will work with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve system performance and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include diagnosing PLC systems, modifying programs, supporting startups, and documenting changes. The role requires 1–3 years in electronics or automotive environments and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Technical school graduate with electrical engineering technology background.
• 1-3 years of experience in electronics or electrical work.
• 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered for this position.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Assist with PLC program modifications, testing, and commissioning.
• Support startup, debugging, and optimization of automated equipment.
• Maintain backups of PLC programs, HMI applications, and control documentation.
• Identify and resolve controls-related production issues to maximize uptime.
• Verify operation of sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, safety circuits, and other devices.
• Assist with electrical panel inspections, modifications, and installations.
• Document troubleshooting activities and control system updates.
