Insight Global is seeking a controls engineer to support a manufacturing plant. You will assist in the design and development of control systems, and help create wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams for equipment.

You will develop PLC and HMI software and participate in testing and commissioning on-site. The role requires 2 years of manufacturing experience, PLC and HMI skills, and an associates or bachelor’s degree.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• PLC programming and HMI experience.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the design and development of control systems based on written sequences of operation.
• Support creation of electrical wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams for manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and test PLC and HMI software for control systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and support commissioning/start‑up of automated systems on-site.
• Provide technical support during installation of tooling and equipment in plant environments.
• Assist with training plant personnel on operation of control systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and supplier teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and engineering standards.
