Job summary

Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Engineer to program, research, upgrade, purchase, install and maintain controls for manufacturing equipment across the Marvin brands. You will partner with manufacturing, maintenance and engineering to design, implement and support PLC and controls systems.

Required are a 4-year electrical engineering degree and 2+ years of related experience, plus ability to read schematics and use AutoCAD Electrical. Relocation benefits are available for Fargo, ND based work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Two or more years related experience.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment and hand tools.
• Proficient ability to read and understand prints and schematics.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of PLC and Operator Interface programming languages.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, install and test automation control systems to improve machine efficiency.
• Provide input for controls components, software, databases and interfaces.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and programmatic issues and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and engineers to transfer new equipment to production.
• Train maintenance staff and operators on new controls and safety procedures.
