Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions is seeking a bold Controls Engineer to own full control-system projects from concept through commissioning in Indianapolis, IN.

You'll design integrated control systems, program PLCs and HMIs, test and field-commission systems, and coordinate with technicians and customers to deliver on schedule and budget. Position offers opportunity to manage customer relationships and end-to-end engineering ownership in a dynamic security-electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Recent PLC programming and HMI development experience.
• Integrated systems design knowledge.
• 4-year technical engineering degree.
• Ability to independently manage projects and solve problems.
• Familiarity with access control, CCTV, intercoms, or other security electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrated control systems from customer specifications.
• Program PLCs and develop HMI applications.
• Test, troubleshoot, and commission systems in the field.
• Take ownership of assigned projects, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate field technicians and installation support.
• Work directly with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
