The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, design, test, and oversee retrofits, while ensuring quality assurance for control systems and facility equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
• Position requires work on extended and/or "odd" or "on call" hours as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Process Hazard Analysis, P&IDs, procedures and electrical schematics.
• Maintain the PLC program, HMI program, database and Information Systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and instrument problems.
• Design, test, troubleshoot, and oversee implementation of new processes; retrofit existing systems.
• Create and implement new automation strategies to improve process efficiency.
• Maintain quality assurance on control systems in manufacturing.
• Maintain controls for facility equipment.
