Anomatic Corporation in New Albany, OH seeks a Controls Engineer to plan, design, and manage projects across the manufacturing floor. You will optimize control systems, equipment workflows, and production methods to meet product specifications and improve efficiency.

The role leads vendor coordination, develops test protocols, and supports maintenance with troubleshooting. A bachelor's degree and hands-on manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5 years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment (2+ years).
• Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Develop control system requirement specs with Automation Engineers.
• Design electrical schematics and enclosure layouts for automation equipment.
• Review and approve electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical & AutoCAD.
• Create BOMs, request quotes, and manage purchasing.
• Ensure safe, efficient control implementations on plant floor.
• Lead controls projects and coordinate vendor installations.
• Develop test protocols and execute tests.
• Program PLCs (Allen‑Bradley) and HMIs (PanelBuilder32/FactoryTalk).
• Support pneumatic, servo, Ethernet/IP, and CNC controls.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams.
