Job summary
Mountaintop Beverage is seeking a Controls Engineer to analyze manufacturing processes, optimize production, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will develop control architectures, troubleshoot and upgrade electrical systems, and support a variety of equipment including PLCs, HMI, and motion control within an aseptic filling environment.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 2-5 years of controls experience in manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Process, Controls, Automation, or Electrical Engineering required.
- 2-5 years of controls/electrical engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; experience with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing control architecture to collect data for reliability.
- Standardize electrical components and designs to simplify operation.
- Design and develop control systems for varying complexity.
- Interpret vendor specs and align with Mountaintop standards.
- Maintain and upgrade electrical/control systems to support production.
- Lead lifecycle and projects for controls software/hardware.
