Job summary
Jobot is actively seeking a Controls Engineer in the Pittsburgh area to design, develop, and support custom automation solutions for industrial and infrastructure applications. Responsibilities include creating electrical schematics, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting to improve system performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of controls engineering experience in manufacturing, plus 3+ years with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and FactoryTalk View
Qualifications
- BS in a related field is required or equivalent.
- 3–5+ years of controls engineering experience in industrial manufacturing.
- 3+ years of Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC programming experience.
- FactoryTalk View HMI experience required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support custom automation solutions from concept to implementation.
- Create control system designs, electrical schematics and PLC/HMI programs.
- Commissioning, troubleshooting and optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment uptime.
