Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, build, and commission automated control systems for cooling plants, electrical distribution, and data halls. You will develop PLC code and HMI/SCADA interfaces, and deploy solutions across the Memphis/Southaven campus.

The role requires a background in industrial automation, familiarity with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A, and hands-on experience with electrical cabinets and instrumentation. Based in Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of professional experience in automation and controls design/commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and activate control systems for cooling, electrical, and data center infrastructure.
• Lay out control panels compliant with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A and create schematics.
• Develop, test, and maintain PLC code and HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Deploy control solutions into live campus operations (BMS/SCADA/PLC).
• Manage hardware like VFDs, servo motors, and controllers.
