Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an on-site Supercomputer Physical Infrastructure Technician based in Memphis, TN, with duties spanning cross-campus control system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will work with Controls Engineers to ensure uptime for cooling plants, electrical distribution, and data halls, while building and wiring industrial control panels.

You will handle PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, follow NFPA 79 and UL 508A standards, and perform structured fault

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems in an industrial/critical facility environment; or an associate degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and commissioning of equipment into campus BMS/EPMS/SCADA systems and PLC controls.
• Perform safe electrical work with LOTO, arc-flash, interlock, and safe restart verification.
• Maximize uptime through troubleshooting, repairs, and corrective actions on electromechanical systems.
• Wire, commission, and maintain industrial control panels and field devices per NFPA 79 and UL 508A.
• Diagnose PLCs, HMIs, alarms, sequences, I/O status, and logic; document actions and perform basic recoveries.
• Set up, diagnose, and validate sensors and networks serving chillers, pumps, and power distribution.
• Support controls for VFDs, pumps, valves, and related equipment; perform safety checks.
• Provide controls support for campus cooling plants and essential systems to protect plant stability.
• Conduct fault finding and root-cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers, facilities operations, and construction for safe, reliable solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and work tickets.
