Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer for a 52-week contract in Wentzville, MO. You will work with PLCs, SCADA, Rockwell controls, and Fanuc/ABB robotics to troubleshoot equipment and drive continuous improvements that increase throughput and reduce downtime.

The role offers exposure to automation systems, with responsibilities spanning monitoring SCADA platforms and implementing upgrade projects across production lines.

Competenze

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in the field.
• Proficient in programming and troubleshooting PLC systems (PLC5, 500, Studio 5000).
• Experience with Rockwell communication architectures and SCADA systems.

Mansioni

• Monitor and improve SCADA systems (GPMC, InDepth, DTR, T-PUT) to boost throughput and reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot automation equipment and robots to ensure smooth operations.
• Apply NEC/NFPA 70 code knowledge in integration work.
• Design and implement continuous improvements on existing and new equipment.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Wentzville, MO (Weekends depending on Production & Maintenance Needs)

52 Weeks contract

Candidate must be open to working any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd )

1st shift 5:30AM-3PM

2nd Shift 1:30PM-11PM

3rd Shift 9:30PM-7AM

Description:

The individual will work with PLCs, SCADA systems, Rockwell controls, and Fanuc/ABB robotics while troubleshooting equipment and implementing continuous improvements that increase throughput and reduce downtime. The role provides broad automation experience and the opportunity to make a direct impact on production

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and improving several SCADA Systems (GPMC, InDepth, DTR, T-PUT) to increase throughput and decrease downtime.
• Troubleshoot automation equipment and robots
• NEC / NFPA 70 Code Knowledge
• Design, construct, and integrate continuous improvement on existing and new equipment.

Job Requirements

• Engineering Degree or Equivalent Experience in the field

Education/Experience:

• 2 - Year Automation Technology Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical/Engineering Field OR
• Technical degree 5-7 years of experience required.
