Job summary

Brewer Science, Inc. seeks a Controls Engineer II–IV to design, implement, and support control systems for manufacturing and facilities equipment in Dayton, OH. You will develop software, configure networks, and support data visualization.

Responsibilities include debugging, commissioning, testing, and collaborating with controls, electrical, and software teams. Mentors and guides junior engineers while advancing control system strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in a related field with 2+ years experience for level II; advanced degrees or experience for higher levels.
• Experience in developing, programming and maintaining control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with data visualization/dashboards and industrial networks.
• Ability to debug, test, and deploy control software and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control software for manufacturing equipment.
• Support AVEVA PI data visualization and dashboards.
• Configure and maintain industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet).
• Debug, commission, and test control systems during integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
