Job summary

United Therapeutics seeks a Controls Engineer II or Senior to support and troubleshoot manufacturing automation and distributed control systems in a regulated environment in Durham, NC. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, networks, and OT platforms such as Schneider EcoStruxure, AVEVA ArchestrA, and JCI Metasys.

Key duties include system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, change control compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance in Pharma

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or IT with automation focus required.
• Experience in FDA-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, programming, and change-control skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting for distributed control systems and manufacturing automation.
• Maintain PLCs, VFDs, HMIs and field devices under change control.
• Support OT systems, ERP (SAP) and EDMS platforms within validated environment.
