Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, implement, and maintain manufacturing floor controls systems across the lifecycle. You’ll work on architecture, PLC/HMI development, commissioning, and sustainment while collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

You will deploy OT/IT server infrastructure, design OT networking, and build Ignition SCADA applications. The role emphasizes security, reliability, and hands-on network work on a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or IT field.
• 4+ years controls/automation experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs.
• Ignition SCADA development experience including gateway modules.
• OT stack knowledge: MQTT, OPC UA, TCP/IP, VLANs.

Responsibilities

• Support controls systems across their lifecycle, contributing to architecture, PLC/HMI development, commissioning, and sustainment.
• Deploy and maintain OT/IT server infrastructure—Ignition gateways, historians, MQTT brokers, and jump hosts.
• Help design and maintain the production OT networking stack and diagnose protocol, timing, and VLAN issues at the packet level.
• Build Ignition Perspective SCADA applications, including views, tag architecture, alarms, historian configuration, gateway topology.
• Develop and debug PLC code on Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms with well-documented code.
