The role involves modeling, simulation, hardware collaboration, experiments, and data-driven validation, with travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of related industry experience.
• Model-based control development using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of closed-loop control theory.
• Ability to read power electronics schematics and data sheets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent judgment.
• Willingness to travel 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, simulate, and implement advanced control algorithms.
• Develop and document control system architectures.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Firmware Engineers.
• Conduct experiments and data analysis to validate algorithms.
• Use oscilloscopes, power supplies, loads, and HIL test equipment for validation.
• Track projects to meet schedules and Milwaukee Tool processes.
• Lead technical meetings and document presentations.
• Consider manufacturing implications to enable mass production.
