Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Controls Engineer I to drive solutions for manufacturing equipment and lead improvement projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams on regulatory compliance, validation activities, and equipment start-up, while applying Lean principles to improve processes and ensure quality. A BS in Engineering and hands-on PLC/automation experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required (Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred).
• Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
• Strong accountability and ownership.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge and practice.

Responsibilities

• Develops or participates in development of solutions for assigned projects.
• Participates in continuous improvement projects and waste reduction.
• Works with manufacturing and other groups on regulatory compliance issues.
• Writes, implements, and reports on validation activities.
• Designs and conducts routine testing and data analysis; reports results.
• Performs start-up data capture and setting optimization for new equipment.
