Job summary

E Tech Group seeks a seasoned Controls Engineer to design and commission BMS/EPMS for large-scale data center projects. You will develop control logic for PLCs, SCADA, and HMI, and integrate with HVAC, power systems, and monitoring platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in controls/automation, hands-on experience with Ignition and Rockwell, and a strong focus on safety, reliability, and collaboration with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of controls engineering or automation experience; at least 3 years in data centers.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, Ethernet/IP, or other industrial protocols.
• Understanding of electrical power monitoring, HVAC, and critical facility systems.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities; customer-focused and team-oriented.
• Willingness to visit local project sites; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Create control system architectures for BMS/EPMS across data center facilities.
• Develop PLC, SCADA, and HMI logic and graphics using Ignition or Rockwell.
• Coordinate with HVAC, power distribution, and monitoring platforms.
• Lead or support commissioning and verify data points and signals.
• Prepare system documentation, I/O lists, and control drawings.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams on scope and schedule.
• Uphold company values and focus on safety, quality, and reliability.
