Job summary

The University of Minnesota is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer to provide technical support for Direct Digital Control and HVAC systems. This role includes troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of DDC systems, as well as developing strategies for optimizing system performance and supporting the Facilities Management Team.

Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree and four years of experience in building systems service work.
  • Experience with DDC systems installation and maintenance.
  • Must maintain low voltage electrician certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for DDC and HVAC systems.
  • Coordinate projects, ensuring work is scheduled and within budget.
  • Develop programs for optimizing mechanical systems performance.
