Job description

Qualifications

Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, and Fanuc robots is required (minimum 3 years). Ability to travel is also required.

Project Details

Candidates should expect 40 hrs. a week at start of project. Travel to Moline, Illinois for implementation, which can last 4-5 weeks with 2 weeks working and every other weekend home. During implementation can work up to 50 hrs. per week.

Skills
  • Allen Bradley and Fanuc are a must and candidates MUST be able to write PLC code from start to finish in addition to troubleshoot and debug.
  • Servo Motors and AB Panel View experience is not required but would be welcomed skills. Ignition based HMI experience would be much appreciated as well.
  • Good reporting skills are necessary as you'll be expected to generate reports daily for projects.
Duties
  • Implement and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot robot controllers, ladder logic, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment.
  • Perform machine power up, debug and, programming.
  • Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques and approach.
