Job summary

Qualified candidates will have at least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and substantial experience in automotive manufacturing. The role demands proficiency in PLC programming and robotics, along with a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret and design electrical schematics.
• Continuous improvement mindset and understanding of the '7 wastes'.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control systems for plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs and plant processes.
• Implement and support Factory 4.0 initiatives.

Skills

Knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens)

Robotics experience (ABB and Fanuc)

Programming proficiency in RS Logic Suite and FTView

Knowledge of Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
