Job Description:

The Controls Engineer position will be based out of Zeeco's Broken Arrow office within the Vapor Control Division. This position will be responsible for providing controls and instrumentation expertise for a variety of product-related inquiries.

Job Duties:

1. Review project engineering and sales packages to determine the scope of equipment Zeeco is to supply to our customer.
2. Read the customer specifications and implement those specifications as they apply to the "AS SOLD" equipment.
3. Develop P&ID drawings in coordination with the project, sales, and process engineers to meet the Zeeco "AS SOLD" package and customer specification requirements.
4. Develop control panel BOMs that include control enclosures, pilot lights, push-buttons, selector switches, relays, timers, trip alarms, purge systems, and PLCs.
5. Develop ISA data sheets for temperature, level, flow, and pressure transmitters, as well as for control valves, positioners, analytical, and other instrumentation.
6. Create drawings for control panels, power distribution, junction boxes, and warning light systems, including general arrangements, internal layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
7. Develop logic diagrams in ISA format for complex devices such as PLCs and DCS systems.
8. Ability to program PLC logic is preferred but not required.
9. Prepare cable BOMs, routing plans, and schedules.
10. Perform inspection and testing of equipment prior to shipment from Zeeco's fabrication facility, including with customer presence if necessary.
11. Occasional travel to support sales or assist customers with commissioning, including domestic and overseas destinations.

Qualifications:

1. B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
2. 2+ years of industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
