Manpower Group (USA) is representing a leading automotive manufacturing company in Detroit seeking a qualified Controls Engineer. The role focuses on PLC/NC programming, Siemens-based platforms, and designing control systems for automated processes.

You will troubleshoot, test, and optimize PLC, CNC, and HMI systems while collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams to drive continuous improvement across production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Control engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of controls engineering experience in industrial automation/manufacturing.
• Strong PLC programming experience, preferably Siemens.
• Knowledge of HMI systems, networks, and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide production line support for controls logic, PLC, and NC programming on Siemens platforms.
• Design, implement, and maintain control systems for industrial equipment and automation processes.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug PLC, CNC, and HMI systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate automation solutions.
• Support continuous improvement projects aimed at improving throughput and equipment reliability.

As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Production, Maintenance, and Automation Teams. Pay Range: $45-$55/hour (Depending on Experience)

• Knowledge of HMI systems, industrial communication networks, and electrical schematics.
