Now Hiring: Controls Engineer – Automation & PLCs

We're seeking a Controls Engineer with strong experience in automation systems, robotics, and PLC programming to support high-volume metalforming manufacturing operations. This is a new role created due to growth, based in Hartford County, CT, with occasional travel between local facilities.

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot and improve controls for automated assembly equipment, robots, drives, and vision systems.
• Collaborate on electro-mechanical systems including sensors, actuators, and motor drives.
• Lead sustaining engineering projects and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide daily support to ensure quality, efficiency, and uptime on the production floor.

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years as a Controls or Automation Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of safety circuits and motion control.
• Experience in metalforming or high-volume production strongly preferred.
