Jobot is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for a major food and beverage facility in New York. You will design, implement, and test control systems using PLCs, HMI, and SCADA to meet client needs on cutting-edge automation projects.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with ControlNet/DeviceNet networks, and a strong focus on safety, documentation, and teamwork to deliver robust, reliable systems for a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering.
• PLC or HMI programming experience.
• Proficiency with industrial networks such as ControlNet, DeviceNet.
• Familiarity with SCADA platforms such as Wonderware or Ignition.
• Strong understanding of automation and control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety and performance standards.
