Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Senior Electrical/Controls Engineer to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for automated industrial equipment. The role involves creating wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and control wiring diagrams for upgrades and new installations.

You will program and support PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, and work with Allen-Bradley, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View, and other platforms. Collaboration with project teams and field service is essential.

Qualifications

Job Details

Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for automated industrial equipment and processes.

Create and modify wiring diagrams, panel layouts, power distribution drawings, controls wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications for system upgrades, expansions, and new installations.

Program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and related automation platforms.

Work with Allen Bradley, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View, and other automation/control platforms.

Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and modify motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, drives, instrumentation, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and other electrical equipment.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment issues and perform preventative and corrective maintenance as needed.

Support control system upgrades, conversions, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, motion control, process control, robotics, retrofit systems, and wireless communications projects.

Collaborate with project engineers and maintenance technicians to resolve production issues and implement error-proofing solutions.

Oversee or support new production installations, field service work, system testing, and customer-facing project support.

Identify opportunities to improve product quality, equipment performance, automation processes, and system reliability.
