Leoforce in Allentown, PA, seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to lead PLC-based control system development from concept to commissioning. You will design electrical panels, program Allen-Bradley controllers, and collaborate with customers across the project lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA, motion control, and robotics, plus a strong understanding of electrical standards. Travel 25–40% is expected, and an engineering degree is preferred.

Formación

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley required; others a plus).
• Background in controls, electrical design, and system integration.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA, motion control, and fieldbus technologies.
• Exposure to robotics (Fanuc, UR, etc.) and industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL, and relevant electrical standards.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
• Engineering degree preferred; electrical license a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~25–40%.

This role supports conveyor, robotics, and automation integration projects for a variety of industrial customers, from initial concept through installation and post-launch support. You’ll be hands-on in designing, programming, and commissioning control systems while partnering with internal teams and customers throughout the full project lifecycle.
