Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in electrical/controls engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for automated industrial equipment and processes.
• Create and modify wiring diagrams, panel layouts, power distribution drawings, controls wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications for upgrades, expansions, and new installations.
• Program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and related automation platforms.
• Work with Allen Bradley, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View, and other automation platforms.
• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and modify motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, drives, instrumentation, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and other electrical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment issues and perform preventative and corrective maintenance as needed.
• Support system upgrades, conversions, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, motion control, process control, robotics, and wireless projects.
• Collaborate with project engineers and maintenance technicians to resolve production issues and implement error-proofing solutions.
• Oversee or support new production installations, field service work, system testing, and customer-facing project support.
• Identify opportunities to improve product quality, equipment performance, automation processes, and system reliability.
