Responsibilities

• Responsible for controls system design, specifications, documentation, programming, troubleshooting, testing and installation for automations and manufacturing equipment.
• Key duties include, machine troubleshooting and repair, line support, upgrading machine controls, improving manufacturing throughput.
• Support Kaizen projects. Controls for and installations of Poke-Yokes.

JOB DUTIES

• Responsible for controls system design, specifications, documentation, programming, troubleshooting, testing and installation for automations and manufacturing equipment.
• Responsible for all software driven controls and process controls including temperature, position, force and control.
• New program launches: Assist with planning, design, construction, installation of automation
• Key duties include, machine troubleshooting and repair, line support, upgrading machine controls, improving manufacturing throughput. Support Run at Rates.
• Plant improvement initiatives: Support Kaizen projects. Controls for and installations of Poke-Yokes.

REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years working as a Controls Engineer in a plant manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of NEC (national electric code),
• PLC and HMI programming, vision system implementation, computer skills, AutoCAD or other
